Dear All, we got this from neil to post it here - unfortunately he has not always access to the internet - so we (alice & me) would like to continue operating as a kind of "switchboard" - and do our best to let us all stay in touch ...
all the best, marcus.
George and myself would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who sailed with us this summer. As usual we met some fantastic people from all over the world and it has been a pleasure taking you all out on the trips. I'm very sorry if we were unable to sail on the odd occasion we encountered adverse weather conditions and had to cancel the day, especially to those of you that came to Skiathos when it rained for ten days in September, this is not usual so don't let it put you off coming back to the island.
The last flight left on monday [two weeks ago, sorry for the delay in posting; marcus] and autumn is in the air, despite the fact most days are still warm, sunny and still around twenty degrees! The boat will shortly be taken to Volos for the winter and we will soon be saying goodbye to another wonderful summer of sailing and visiting the beautiful places on Skiathos and our neighbouring islands.
We look forward with great pleasure to next summer and taking friends, old and new, out with us once more, we do hope you have the best day of your holiday with us.
Have a good winter, wherever you are, and we hope to see you back in Skiathos in 2009.
Best wishes to you all.
Neil & George
